The distance in the situation
By princess Shark"damn what was i doing with such a looser....i really took shit from him." or
"Wow this gurl has sucked me dry i should have listened... and she might have actually cheated on me like my friend said"
Do you know that when you are sooo close to a situation you are blind.
whatever he explains to you is right.
whatever she says you should do out of love is right.
Any excuse is a good excuse...i mean there is love right? <3
you need to step away from the situation for a while and see if what you see is the same thing you saw before...
We tend to complain about the things we dont have when we have everything we actually need.
In our quest for higher things and intense luxury we loose our true personality.
If someone took half of what you already own away....u will be broken
But then that will take you at least 5 steps away from the situation to appreciate the things you presently have...
you need to step away from the situation body and mind not just phisically to apreciate or c the wrong part of something....
LADIES>..i always have to drop aline for you guys.... Dont sit ther and take trash from a guy out of love...in every situation ask yourself.."Would someone who loved me want this for me for my good?"..."would someone who cared actually do this just cause they could say sorry? "
(ps+ i write in a rush so slide over the errors.)

The Parable of the Talents is the primary reason for wealth or
poverty throughout history.
Reasons for Rich or Poor
Why do some people retire rich and most people retire poor? This
subject has fascinated philosophers, thinkers, mystics and
teachers throughout the ages. There have been so many cases of
hundreds or thousands and even millions of men and women who have
started with nothing and become financially independent that
people are naturally curious to know why it happened and what are
the common rules or principles that others can apply to become
wealthy as well.
Why People Become Rich
One illustration of this key principle is called the parable of
the talents. In the Bible, it says, "To him that hath, shall more
be given, and he shall have abundance. But from him that hath
not, even that which he hath shall be taken away."
Accumulation Leads to More Accumulation
What does it mean? In the modern world, we say "the rich get
richer and the poor get poorer." The fact is that people who
accumulate money tend to accumulate more and more. People who
don’t accumulate money seem to lose even that little bit of money
which they have. Why should this happen? The great success
principle, the single idea that explains human destiny is simple.
It says that, "you become what you think about, most of the
time."
Control Your Thoughts
And whatever you dwell upon, grows in your reality. You create
your entire world by the things you choose to think about and how
you choose to think about them.
It just so happens that wealthy, successful people fill their
minds with thoughts, words, pictures and images of wealth,
affluence, success, productivity and solutions to problems in the
marketplace, most of the time. These thoughts trigger the
reticular activating cortex, the part of the brain that makes you
more alert and sensitive to things that you have decided are
important to you.
Activate Your Reticular Cortex
For example, if you decide to invest in a mutual fund, you will
start to see news and information about mutual funds everywhere.
Mentions in newspapers and magazines will jump out at you. These
notices have always been there but now you have sensitized your
brain to pick them up and draw them to your attention with far
greater frequency and vividness. This is the function and power
of your reticular cortex.
Avoid Poverty Thinking
On the other hand, what do poor people think about most of the
time? Unfortunately, poor people fill their minds with thoughts
of scarcity, lack, poverty, being unable to afford things. They
are always thinking and talking about how little money they have,
how much things cost and how they wish things could be better
financially. What they think about most of the time is how little
money they have.
Think Like Wealthy People Think
Wealthy people from an early age think about how much they have,
how much they want and all the different things they can do to
acquire and earn the money and things they desire.
Find Out How Rich People Think
Here’s a rule for you. If you want to become successful, find out
what failures do and don’t do it. If you want to be wealthy, find
out what poor people think about, and avoid thinking in those
ways. Instead, find out how wealthy people think. Find out what
they read. Find out how they spend their time. Study their lives,
read their stories and autobiographies and listen to their words
when they are interviewed and on tape. The more you find out what
financially successful people think and talk about most of the
time, and do the same things, the more rapidly you will enjoy the
same rewards that they do.
Action Exercises
Here are two things you can do to put this parable of the talents
into action:
First, make a decision today that from now on you will think and
talk only about the financial success that you desire. At the
same time, you will refuse to talk about or dwell upon your
financial problems.
Second, instead of saying, "I can’t afford it," instead ask the
question, "How can I afford it?" When you think of something that
you want or need that you don’t have the money for at the time,
the only question you ask is, "How?" How can you get it? What can
you do to achieve it? What are your options? How can you get from
where you are to where you want to go? This type of attitude will
change

EVER ASKED YOURSELF WHAT YOUR GREATEST FEARS ARE
By MoniqueHave you ever asked yourself what your greatest fears were?
As a kid my greatest fear was darkness, Oh my ……..…darkness used to give me the creeps; I used to have these scary and clueless imaginations that would really melt me down, the other thing I was afraid of as a kid was to be left alone and probably the idea of waking up and finding myself all alone in the house would really scare me. I would wake up in a hurry and rush outside without even changing into some decent clothing and funny enough up to now when asked what was terrorizing me, I can’t answer that. Lately have been questioning myself on what my greatest fears are and this weekend I decided to sit down and analyze them, surprisingly enough I realized that I have quite a number. One of my greatest fear is commitment, believe it or not am afraid of commitment and for these reasons I have ended up breaking some wonderful hearts. Another fear that I have but I didn't realize till this weekend is the thought of having my own kids, I mean I love kids and almost everything about them there tenderness, sweetness, and the fact that they are just sweet, but as I was analyzing my fears I realized that I was afraid of having kids because of the idea that their entire life will depend on me. The other fact that I raised is what if I decided to have them then later on I become a total failure as a mother. But those were what ifs.
The fear that kept me thinking for a while was one that I somehow manage to fight my fears then later on decide to settle down only to realize that the guy I have decided to settle down with is a professional heartbreaker …ouch that would hurt but do you know what would hurt most the fact that I have been left alone nursing my heartbreaks and probably by then I have like four kids, and with this statement another fear arose which is single parenting, not cool.
The other greatest fear that I have is death. Dying without achieving any of my set goals/objectives, leave alone the set goals but the thought of death itself scares me, the idea of totally being out of touch with the living quite devastating, the thought of being lowered six fit under …alone very sad.
I asked one of my friends what her greatest fear was and she told me the thought of dying alone which is definitely true am also afraid of dying alone even though am so afraid of commitment.
The other
greatest fear I have is………………….to be continued
LIES, LIES AND MORE LIES
By MoniqueIt all begins with one small one and they sure do accumulate and by the time we realize we are totally full of them and without knowing we become Professionally, Qualified , Experiennced liars since every time we tell a lie we justify it to make us feel better.
I remember in highschool I told a big lie once, I was suspended from school and I seriously cried I had never been suspended from school, reason not important ... so I wondered how I was going to approach my mum and tell her that I had been suspended, I sat down at the bus stop for a while thinking of what to say, and miraculously an idea clicked my mind. I reached home and I looked at my mum on her face and I told her that the whole class had been suspended because of plotting a strike which was obviously a lie. My mum being my mum she did not waste time, the following day so early in the morning she went to school, she asked me to accompany her but I refused with the excuse that we were not allowed to step anywhere near the school compound. To cut the long story short one way or another my mum found out that I was only among the ten girls who had been sent home, I have never been embarrassed in my life, I received the lecture of a life time and for this cause it took me a whole decade to gain my mums trust again, and at times even when am not lying she just has to be sure....
So people honesty is the best policy.
Belsize Park
By Lady Eno
Pains is good sometimes, its magnitude bitter
Its brings along close relatives fear and anxiety
Such was the experience of the northern park
From the unset, Belsize
park was promising
This park blossomed with hopes and aspirations
Its uttered words that livens living soul
If black could be made white with words
Belsize would make
history.
Belsize how I loved it,
possibly still do
But like it is said love is never enough
Whoever spoke these
words must
Have been aware of Belsize Park
And it’s unstably nature, till this day
Its intentions remain a mystery
Belsize had a special
spark about it
It was the perfect park to unwind
Like the sun that shines in spring time
Belsize was more so
beautiful
But fear which came after the experience
Was unbearable, fear griped me
Each time I approached this northern park.
I kept passing through Belsize to over my fears
In the end, belsize was
conquered.

How to Love yourself
By honey TLearn How to Love Yourself
Do you know how to love yourself?
“To say 'I love you' one must first be able to say the 'I'.”
~Ayn Rand
Rand touches on a point that is worth exploring. You have to know and love YOU before even trying to love anyone else.
Have you heard yourself saying any of these things?
“I’m never going to find someone.”
“I can’t believe this happened… again.”
“I don’t want to just be friends, I want a girl/boyfriend.”
“I’m sick of playing games. I just want people to be real.”
“Maybe I need to focus on my career right now… love can wait.”
It’s as if you have tried EVERYTHING to find that one person that loves you, and no matter what you do, you can't find love.
Well, here's a little secret about attraction:
Learning how to love yourself is
If you don't love YOU, you can't love anyone else. Period.
What does loving yourself mean?
BEING AWARE - Knowing who you are, how you act,
what you believe, and why you think certain ways. Knowing your
boundaries, strengths and weaknesses.
BEING VALUABLE - Recognizing your own worth and
the validity of your opinions. Providing value to others because
you tap into your individual talents.
BEING YOUR OWN BEST FRIEND - Liking, respecting,
and trusting yourself. Treating yourself well. Taking care of
your needs.
BEING ASSERTIVE - Confidently expressing your
unique "I" in the world. Being proactive rather than reactive and
staying true to yourself.
BEING COMMITTED - Acting in accordance with your
personal development or spiritual growth. Making "growth" your
number one priority.
BEING SELFISH (or SELF-MINDFUL) - Respecting
yourself and not tolerating disrespect from others. Neither
sacrificing yourself to others, nor letting others sacrifice
themselves to you.
BEING RESPONSIBLE - Knowing that you are
ultimately responsible for all outcomes in your life, positive
and negative, and that you alone make the choices which create
your experience.
BEING HAPPY ALONE - Enjoying your own company
and using solitude for nourishment to reboot your energy. That
way you can share love without getting depleted.
The most important person in your life is you. The person who you
love the most in the world should be you! Why not? Who better
than you?
"YOU" are the one person you have to spend every waking moment of your life with.
"YOU" are the only person who will be there for you when no one else is.
"YOU" are all you have no matter what.
When you first love yourself, you will give yourself what you
need. You will become highly attractive to others because you are
coming to them out of wholeness, not out of a repulsive
neediness. You will be able to have fulfilling relationships, and
you will have no problem ending relationships which don't serve
your growth.
The concept is simple, though it isn't easy to learn how to love
yourself. It's going to take some hard work. Are you ready
for it?
By becoming self-mindful, taking it step-by-step, and developing self-confidence, you can increase your overall happiness in love and life.
All you have to do is FIRST LOVE YOU and everything else will fall into place.

Incisive Questions
By Lady Eno
My opinions are sanctuary where my truth and reality
lives
when opinions differs, can conventional truths be managed?
can openmindedness smear personal value?
in a world of revolution, neutral opinions, overly freedom of
speech and thoughts, opinions are easily framed by society.
maybe it is just me, most times my truths is in
opposition with so called conventional opinions.
Am I the master of my own ability?
can I create my world with my thoughts and followed
through actions? is conventional wisdom definite?
am i disillusioned? relying on my abilities
does destiny/ lucky play a huge part?
Is patience and kindness learned?
Can Love be unconditional, really?
The one who said, i rather be lucky than good,
was he reasonably? what does being good bring?
Do we all have ulterior motives?
Is why always more vital than what?
Are we all inclined to selfishness?
Will nature always override nuture?
Yes or no to my incisve questions
It is all about my own choices.

25 RANDOM THINGS ABOUT ME - PART 2
By Ree D6. I used to suck my tongue till I was 17 years old ( yeah yeah..I know). My sisters Ngozi and Lulu used to tease me about it so much but it was a hard habit to break. I don't do it anymore and I actually now get irritated with adults who do it. I still can't remember how I stopped but glad I did.
7. Watching movies is my favourite past time. I have seen sooooo many of them in my lifetime. I love horror films and thrillers the most. I just love to turn off the lights and scare myself silly watching movies. Of course, this does not mean I don't enjoy other genres. Right now, I am digging tv series like Lost, 24, Desparate Housewives, Heroes, Smallville, and One Tree Hill.
8. I often get into a mood after shooting a film. I get irritated by things that normally would not irritate me. Didn't understand it earlier in my career but now I have learnt how to deal with it. I guess it is my way of getting out of character. It takes me a a couple of days to get over it depending on how long we shot. It took longer for films like Izu Ojukwu's Distance Between and White Waters, and also for Desperate Bilionaires because I had live maggots crawling all over me in that movie (naaaaasty).
9. My first film was MY GUY though my second one SOUL THAT SINNETH was released before it. I had a starring role in My guy alongside the great comedians Basorge Tariah and Ali Baba. My biggest challenge was keeping a straight face. I kept laughing and the director kept cutting. It was also hard not looking into the camera coming from the world of stage. I will forever be grateful to Basorge for casting me in that film.
10. I left Nollywood for a few years when it didn't seem like anything was working out. While in England, I actually paid to go to some art school. In 2003, I came back to Nigeria for a short holiday, and that was it. My siblings kept calling from England to ask when I was coming back but I was doing one job after the other. One year later, I realized I was never going back to live in England.
Bless
